Otherwise, he said he must continue to wear diapers for adults with incontinence daily.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">\u201cThis has been a source of daily frustration and embarrassment especially when traveling which I like to do, and it has affected my confidence and independence,\u201d Phillips wrote on the online fundraising campaign titled \u201cHelp Michael Get Micropenis Enlargement Procedure\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">On that GoFundMe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/help-michael-get-micropenis-enlargement-surgery\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">page<\/a>, Phillips said he had saved up as much money as he could for \u201cthe cost of the surgery and injections that could help increase the girth and allow me to use the restroom more normally\u201d. But he said he was appealing \u201cto anyone who understands how challenging this situation can be\u201d for assistance with the balance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">Phillips said the procedure would not constitute a cure for his micropenis \u2013 but that it could mean \u201cliving with more dignity and independence\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">He had raised more than $9,500 as of Friday morning. The campaign\u2019s listed goal at that time was $22,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">Reached by text message on Friday, Phillips confirmed he had created the drive but did not immediately respond to a request for further comment. A GoFundMe spokesperson also said the platform had verified the campaign.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">Phillips\u2019s fundraiser arrived after he became one of the biggest stories in the world in late February \u2013 at virtually the same time that the US and Israel launched war in Iran \u2013 by telling TMZ that he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2026\/feb\/28\/north-carolina-micropenis-challenge\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">challenged<\/a> anyone on Earth to prove they had a smaller penis than him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">The point of his challenge, he said, was to advocate against body shaming for those living with micropenis, an exceedingly rare condition which the <a href=\"https:\/\/my.clevelandclinic.org\/health\/diseases\/17955-micropenis\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">Cleveland Clinic<\/a> defines as a stretched penile length of less than 2.67in (6.8cm). He said he also wanted to raise awareness about the difficulties of having a sexual organ which in his case is the size of a pinky fingernail when fully aroused.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">Beside urinary issues, Phillips said it had been impossible for him to engage in penetrative sex in his intimate life, all but erasing his willingness \u201cto approach new people, especially females\u201d on the dating scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">Some internet denizens have met Phillips\u2019s tale with skepticism and questioned its authenticity, but he has evidently transmitted photographic evidence of it \u2013 including to unwilling recipients.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">At one point, a woman posted a viral social media video in which she accused Phillips of sending her an unsolicited picture of his member while they argued online after he insulted her weight and she retaliated by taunting his micropenis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">\u201cThis is by far the smallest one I\u2019d ever seen,\u201d the woman said in the video.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">Phillips later <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/03\/03\/michael-phillips-nude-pics-apology\/#:~:text=Michael%20Phillips%20%2D%2D%20the%20man,...%20and%20he's%20apologetic.\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">confirmed<\/a> to TMZ that the woman\u2019s video was accurate \u2013 yet maintained he only wanted \u201cto show her that she shouldn\u2019t make fun of people and let her see what she\u2019s making fun of\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">\u201cI tried to tell her it\u2019s a disability and something I have to live with,\u201d Phillips said. \u201cI was hoping for it to be a teachable moment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">He ultimately said he had previously sent such unsolicited pictures to others while drinking, admitted it was a \u201cstupid\u201d thing for him to do and said: \u201cI don\u2019t do that any more.
